Worship
Worshiping God is the centerpiece to all that takes place at Bedon.  Bedon offers traditional worship in a relaxed, "come as you are" atmosphere.  In addition to worship on Sunday morning and evenings, Bedon offers worship on Christmas Eve and Maundy Thursday (the Thursday before Easter).

Music Ministry
The Bedon Choir lifts praises at each morning worship service.  The choir also presents cantatas at Easter and Christmas. Bedon's children sing too.  The Melody Makers Choir is for children in elementary school.  The Gracenotes is a ladies' ensemble that performs regularly at Bedon and other churches.  The youth, many of whom play instruments in the local high school band, provide music for worship too.

Prayer
Bedon gathers every Wednesday night for Prayer Meeting.  A prayer list is maintained and emailed to the "connected" membership each Tuesday.  A prayer chain is activated when emergencies arise.

Missions
Bedon believes in missions.  The Women's Missionary Union is very active, raising money for missionaries and keeping the church informed about missions.  The children learn about missions on Wednesday nights.  The youth participate in Youth on Missions every Wednesday evening.  In addition, a major church-wide Mission Trip for the summer of 2011 is in the planning stages.

Community Outreach
Bedon participates in the state-sponsored "Adopt-a-Highway" trash pickup program.  In addition, every service and special event held at the church is always open to the public.

Bible Study
A fully-age graded Sunday School takes place each Sunday at 10:00 A.M.  Youth Bible Study is held on Wednesday nights.  A Bible study for the adults is held after Prayer Meeting.  Special studies are held occasionally for specific groups, such as a study just for the women.

Children
Bedon loves children!  In addition to missions and choir, special events are held periodically just for the kids (such as a "Back to School" Splash or a trip to the movies).  A Children's Sermon is presented during morning worship and Junior Church is held during "Big Church" that is geared for a child's mental capacity and attention span.  In addition, Vacation Bible School is held each summer.

Youth
Bedon has a very active and large youth ministry.  From ski trips to Bible Study to World Changers, the youth play a very important part in Bedon's ministry.

College and Career
Geared for single folks ages 18 to 25, Bedon has an active College and Career Class.

Men
Bedon's Men regularly participate in the Colleton Baptist Association's Men Rallies and take part in the association's annual Christmas Project.  They also build ramps and do other repair work for people in need.

Meals
Bedon offers two free meals: breakfast on Sundays and supper on Wednesday nights.  These meals encourage fellowship and provide a meal for those who would otherwise not eat.

Senior Adults
Bedon's Senior Adults (age 50 and above) take an active roll in the leadership and life of the church.  A "Good Cheer" ministry is provided for the shut-in and homebound.  Occasional trips are made by the senior adults to places like the fair and the theater.

Special Stuff
In addition to these ministries, Bedon also presents a Live Nativity each December, holds a Fall Festival at Halloween, and conducts an annual Fall Revival.
